First shoot with my 45mm F1.8

In four days I've been a member for a year here on DPReview. Since joining and checking in here on the forum once in a while the sort of augmented camera experience of reading here and looking at and sharing images has made the whole thing more immersive. Thanks for the advice from when I was a new member when I asked about the NX300, I'm very content with it.
I decided to buy my first lens now in addition to the kit 18-55. The choice was between the 30mm and 45mm. While the 30mm is optically amazing according to a lot of you guys and the very universl focal lenght, the lack of iFunction( which neccesarily isn't essential but something I've gotten so incredibly used to) and the slower focus engine led me to 45mm...
At first I was afraid that the additional pros, in comparison with 18-55 wouldn't (atleast in my eyes, ) be enough to justify a new lens. I've only been into photography in a year and don't spot center sharpness, corner to corner performance, distortion and such like a more experienced shooter do. Also since it is a prime I was afraid that I wouldn't be used to move myself instead of adjusting the zoom.
However! I got to say that my first impressions were great! I didn't know what to shoot at first but my sister told me about her Samba carnival and I saw it as a opportunity to put the 45mm to its pace. At first the focal length was perfect, then later the group danced inside a museum from where the focal lenght got a bit narrow and some hands were cut out and even half the body if I wanted to people in the shot, but it wasn't to bad. Some shots also had motionblur, but that was because of me, I was to stingy with the ISO and sacrificed too much shutterspeed. Oh well, you live and learn, I'm still new to the game Here are some shots thought that I sort of liked! Enjoy.
