Galaxy NX (or other bodies) focus peaking = low frame rate VF? + other questions/comments

Received my GNX yesterday, today I started playing around with it. So far so good - comments questions below.

When I turn on peaking, on low mid high, and using any color, the frame rate of the view finder drops dramatically. With peaking off, live view is very smooth, basically what I'd expect. But when it's on, I'd consider it almost unusable. Anyone notice this and/or have a fix? Is it something only found on the GNX bodies? When I'm using my MD 50/1.4, the DOF very thin, and I would appreciate the extra help peaking provides.

I know the camera body is a little old, but I kind of expected more from the sensor/processing. High ISO noise get blotchy and smeared - i'd really prefer all the noise vs smudged pixels. Is thing something common on all the samsung bodies? Maybe just bodies with this sensor? Or is it specific to the GNX? I've tried turning off all the NR, but it still looks like water color.

So far I've just been using legacy minolta glass. I have a close focusing 28mm that is great, but it's slow @ f2.8, so I just ordered the 30mm f2. I'm going to pass on the 45mm f1.8 for now, as I'm happy with the MD 50/1.4. I want something a little wider and a lot faster, somewhere around a 28-35mm equivalent , f1.8 or faster. Any ideas here? I see rumors of a 24mm f1.4, which would be amazing.

Does anyone have the 85mm? How do you like it? pictures look amazing, it just seems extremely specialized. But DAMN it looks good. Really, really, reallllly good job on samsung's part for that one!

Any other lens/accessories you recommend? I'm new to samsung, but now I'm here, it's really surprisingly that they haven't caught traction. Granted the NX1 is badass, but prior to that, no love.

So far I like the camera. It's a little larger than what I'm used to (sony/MFT), but having android on board is really convenient. I can edit raw, and publish directly to wordpress, flickr, instagram  - Which makes me feel better rather than having a hard drive full of images that don't get shared. :/ I do wish I had another dial, the touch screen is fine, but having two dials just feels so right. i'm sure as I work with more, Ill start noticing other quirks. If you have any other tips, I'd appreciate it.

Don't forget to push the top dial forward to scroll through iso, aperture, eV.

I've only just discovered focus peaking on my galaxy nx and must say I haven't noticed a difference with the smoothness in the liveview.
As for image quality I've been very impressed with the camera performance with all my lenses (nx20mm, 30mm, 45mm, 60mm, 16-50mm, 50-200mm). I found it as good or better than the nx1000 I owned before.
