An Eye-Opening Experience & The Power Of Olympus

I have bought a Sony A7II and a Zeiss 55 f/1.8 beside my MFT kit a couple of months ago, and I have been using it almost exclusively since. But for the latest family trip, I decided to just take the E-M1 and the 75 1.8. I am glad I did. Now I am enjoying MFT once again, not that it ever failed me. But the new gear's shine glazed my eyes over. Full story posted here .

A brave man that takes just the single telephoto lens.
Although I very much like my 75mm, I might feel naked without one or another wide/wide zoom.

Just read your blog as well as this post.  What a beautiful little girl you have.  I'm expecting my first girl in July.  I can't wait.  I really like the idea of taking a single lens and learning how to master it.  Especially primes for me.  Great site and post!

LOL. No risk, no fun.

The whole point of personal photography for me is to enjoy myself and have fun. Hence, the risk.

Have fun. Kids are the most precious things you can ever have.

I still regret not learning photography earlier to capture my eldest girl. I recorded the first 18 months of her infancy using lousy cameras with lousier techniques.
