Re: Dropped boyfriend's NX11 Samsung

I dropped my boyfriend's NX11 samsung camera and the ring that connected the lens and the camera broke (I think it's called bayonet mount ring). Now it doesn't focus automatically, but works fine manually, I was wondering if you guys know if the mount ring is the only broken thing or have I broken more pieces inside and have to replace the lens as well?
Nobody can tell you with any certainty without examining it. There are corresponding electrical contacts on the camera and the lens. A broken mount would prevent reliable communication between those contacts and would easily account for autofocus not working. As it works with manual focus, there is a good chance just replacing the mount will fix it for an insignificant cost.
Which lens is it and is the mount ring of the lens broken or the lens mount on the camera?
The Samsung part number for the lens mount ring on the camera is AD61-04135A and it is described as "MOUNT LENS". That's actually an NX10 part number but the NX11 is the same.
I don't know the Samsung part number for the mount ring on the lens but I just happened to find some aftermarket ones on eBay yesterday when I was looking for a battery door for my NX10. If the lens is an 18-55mm, the first version had a plastic mount ring and later versions had metal mounts. They're interchangeable, so it doesn't really matter which you get but metal is no doubt preferable. Here's a link to the aftermarket ones on eBay (I think these are plastic): http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Mount-Ring-Repair-Part-Replacement-for-Samsung-18-55-mm-NX10-NX11-NX200-Lens-New-/400808937084?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_15&hash=item5d5213067c
