2015 Melbourne F1 photography: EF200-400

Hi,

[cross post from Canon 5D forum]

I was able to try out a loan EF200-400 for last weeks Melbourne F1 GP. Impressive would be an understatement - as you would expect for something of that level.

Pulled together a blog post about the weekend including other lenses etc at link here . Cheers.

hmm, i don't know what think of those shots, i can't say they are great! however, it is not the lens' fault but rather the location where the photographer was standing

Good shooting forbaz.

It was my first time to attend F1 GP, and also it's the first time to try to shooting motion photography through mashes.

i hope you don't mind my point but i see a good amount of motion blur (not sharp and crisp) an noise in your shots, seems like there wasn't enough light on your subject! excellent framing, though   here is another question: were you allowed to take and use big primes with you at the circuit? what lenses you used, if you don't mind me asking?
