The NX3000 and the NX 16mm f/2.4 in night exploration
10

I just want to share with you 2 shots with the small and cheap NX3000 and the realy small and light NX 16mm f2.4 .

That combo fit in a pocket and weight only 332g , a pleasure to have always with you !

It cost me 130€ for the camera new and 130€ for the 16mm used in perfect condition . In my opinion the 16mm, 30mm et 45mm are real bargains !

Love the photos - thanks for sharing. The 16,30,45mm's are my favorite NX lenses too.

Great shots! I love the light and shadows and wispy clouds on the first and long exposure effect to the sky on the second.

Looks great!  I have the 30 and feel the 20 is next for me, but that 16 is quite tempting!

If you have the 30mm already , the 16mm is for me the better choice .

16 to 30 , realy different Field of view , 20 to 30 not so much .

The 16mm (24mm equivalent ) is a real wide angle and there is a nice bonus like Viking and some others have noticed it's in fact more a 14,5/15mm when shooting in RAW ( without distortion correction). For the landscapes shots where the distortion is not problematic it's nice to see that is a bit wider (1mm make a big difference in the wide focal range ) .

This assessment agrees with my experiences very closely. I have the 20mm and it is a nice lens in its own right, but it gets very little use compared to the 16,30,45 lenses

Nice shots, can I ask how the first was lit. Did you light it or was there some other light source?

Excellent photos and I have to agree on the camera/lens combo.

I also have the 16 + 30 + NX3000 which fits into a really small and light bag. I do also have the 18-200mm and 50-200mm but often I go out with just the 16+30 lenses.

My wife has decided she would like to learn more about photography and as pretty much everything she needs to learn can be done on this camera I've bought a second one (body only as we will share lenses) which I got new for £105! Bargain!
