D750 single photo HDR

Just loaded HDR software but have no any bracketed pics, so here is a single photo HDR effect;

After LR PP

Same photo after HDR upload.

Any viewpoints?

Yeah.....easy tiger!!!!! Original is much better and maybe desaturate the greens. I see people over doing HDR all the time its not a good look. Sorry this is one of them.

HDR is (generally) a phase you go through, like adolescence: "look what I can do!", without thinking if it should be done or not in the first place.. Hopefully it will pass soon.

cheers

Hi,

What was a point for single image HDR. For this image U-point could be a much better use

Re: D750 single photo HDR

You could have probably underexposed that at least a stop, maybe 2 and produced a better "HDR" effect.

Quick and dirty, but something like that. Clouds can be added also.

As suggested by others... truly awful.  Sorry.

The only point of HDR for your photo would be to bring back some lost cloud detail.  Your HDR didn't do that.  But in the process it made a mess of the sky/treeline.

Unload HDR; cut down that dead tree or whatever it is; re-take image on a better day. That is if there's a reason to have that image

Take it easy...masters. Better show yours, please.

What about this (you understand this is not real HDR, just a "push around" with one shot)

Thank you all and Good Night!

That's not much better. What's the point in all of this?

I think you are better off using the in camera HDR that outputs a JPEG instead of pushing in post.

Nothing amazing or anything but should give you an idea what to expect.

Ignore the old men. Turn it down a little, crop out the foreground. Most sill young enough for sex will like the HDR>

All due respect, I think the in camera HDR really sucks compared to 3 to 7 images put through HDR Pro in Photoshop CC or CS6 and processed as a 32 bit raw image and then adjusted with in Adobe Camera Raw. You can achieve pretty much noise free images and they turn out quite a bit better than tone mapping with the specialized HDR software.

No disrespect taken and I don't disagree. Was just pointing out an option that I think works better than what the OP was doing without adding much complexity.

Ha ha ha, thank you man! This is the best humored respond on my definitely stupidly made first experience with a single shot in some HDR prog.

Today in Holiday time may be I 'll have a bit time to start to read something about how to use it...

Have a Happy Thanksgiving Day!
