Thanks for that. I dre very little to no change in the AF configuration compared to the NX30.

All I could spot was Samsung's implementation of Canon's AI focus which mixes AF-single with AF-C depending on whether motion is detected.

Otherwise a very disappointing feature set but maybe AF tracking will work OK when selecting area-AF and AF-C. I seriously doubt it will make the cut fot sports where the subject can be briefly shaded by another one but who knows, there could be some hidden features not appearing in the manual.

Waiting for some serious tests on this ad this is my only motivation to buy the NX1.

It’s my primary motivation too. Right now I still use the D3s for action, and the D800E for other work. If you mean (and this appears to be the case), the camera chooses which subject to focus on, I agree it is very unlikely to be of any use to us. With the Nikon I primarily use a single focus point expanded to either 9 or 21 (usually this), and it works very well with usually the entire sequence of 10-11 fps shots in focus. Other setting do not work well.

Hopefully someone will test it with something other than cars or kids running, neither of which is a challenge for the AFC of most cameras.
