Still no problems with the body, I haven't received my battery grip though so a bit off a hassle when using larger lenses and had to change batteries after some 800 frames.

Bridal photo. K-3 with FA 50/1.4@f/2. Sunlight balanced with large reflector.

Nice shot.

For other readers (and myself) it mind be nice if you commented on the good and bad points you've encountered so far

Still looking forward to getting a K3.  Just a matter of when.

Thanks for posting.

I have only two complaints about K-3: Flash sync (altough the difference between 1/180s and 1/250s isn't that great) does not allow firing flash with faster speeds than 1/180s when using something off shoe with radio triggers. I could easily live with shutter curtain showing up on the image border since I could frame a bit wider and crop afterwards.

Second complain is about autofocus and it's tendency to hunt in bright backlight situations and the same old low light focus hunting. Both of these things aren't that major but annoying alltogether.

Agree about the autofocus problems. But knowing what I know now, I still feel it is overall a good camera and hopefully makes Nikon sweat about offering a much improved D7x00.

Thanks.

I do wonder if other cameras struggle focussing with strong backlit scenes as well though?

Canon 5Dmk3s we have at the studio focus noticeably better in such conditions, the older 5Dmk2 has some issues with backlight though.

It is called an artistic/fashion shot, which is very much in style these days. Very nice shot, Jaakko. Glad to hear a take on the K3 from a wedding photographers perspective.
