I like the reprocessed image Andrew. Has a painterly look to it that adds to the atmosphere.
Beinn Fhionnlaidh is a mountain over 3000ft overlooking Glen Creran not too far from where I stay. Translates as 'Finlay's Hill' although who 'Finlay' was is not known.
Couple of shots from the summit on an overcast day.
Corn fields in Illinois
Summer pastime in rural Illinois.
Just after a hurricane. Reworked.
That is very nice. Almost could be taken from the front of our property but your tree line is a little different and has that lone tree. The corn here is really tall this year across the road. The tallest I have seen here in 26 years. It has to be 8 to 10 ft tall as it towered over my head as I sat on our JD 740 cutting the grass beside it. With the heavy rain here tonight it may grow some more!
Both nice Dave, but especially the first. Beats the heck out of the flat ground around here. The back of our property drops off about 70 ft to the valley below us. That is big around here!
Love the first Charles. Great composition and the conversion is very nice as well. An ultralight in the the second. Wouldn't be my cup of tea (flying in one) but a nice capture.
Nice composition, I like the stump holding up the sky.
Thanks for your remarks. I was told the flying thing was a powered para-sail . I wouldn't venture aloft either.l
