I've been published doncha know PART 2
17

Astoundingly, a few weeks after one of my photographs made it into Amateur Photographer magazine, I have had another published in the Sunday Times (15th June). Never had anything published before these two.

This is it, taken in Berlin:-

Whoa! Excellent Womy! Congratulations, both on the…

…picture, which is great, and on the publication.

I'm not familiar with the paper. What was the context in which is was published? Obviously, a feature picture of some sort.

And I didn't see the first one for some reason. Link?

Cheers, geoff

Thanks H. The Sunday Times is the flagship newspaper in Britain and this was in the Travel section.

And I didn't see the first one for some reason. Link?

Excellent pic. I hope you will not be insulted if I suggest it is very Cartier-Bresson-ish. I mean it as a compliment. You have caught the person in such a way that some sort of attitude is projected. I'm not sure if there is a word for it, but it has to do with someone being happy and confident in their own skin. Lots of C-B's pix tell me that about his subjects and your pic does the same excellent job.

In fact, on reflection, the S-Times pic is in the same category.

Cheers, geoff
