Leica T portraits please!

Now that the Leica T has been out for about a month there is practically no threads on this forum about the T. Did anyone buy it? I am deciding between a T and the new Sony a7s. Would like to hear from any T owners who are satisfied with their purchase and also those who are not satisfied with their purchase. I will mainly take portraits with indoor lighting. Please post any portraits that you may have taken with the T. Thanks in advance,

Gar

No regret

Things that I like - IQ, weight, like the menu and the simplicity of use, flash is good for fill in.

Very happy.

Re: Leica T portraits please!

Hey,

Last 3 pictures are taken with the T. I wanted to see how it performs in my casual shooting style: portraits & some bokeh. So here it is. I've been testing this camera for about 2-3 hours total and 1) I fell in love (cause it's Leica, cause it's beautiful, cause it's so minimal) but sadly 2) it's definitely not the best camera around overall. Suitable for slow paced photography, but when you want to quickly change between settings, it won't work

Re: Leica T portraits please!

Totally agree.with Wojtek Bialy. Is wonderful, but if you want to shoot. fast..... It is very slow in everything.

Putting into action is slow (probably the graphics load is the reason)
No has Bulb position
No option to cancel picture review
No screen with an option LEVEL
Not have sensor cleaning
It has no real image stabilizer (not stabilize anything)
Not allowed to use only RAW
Focuses bad in low light (The illuminator does not facilitate anything)

The most important: Very slow writing to SD, if RAW + JPG Fine or Superfine is used with bracketing you must wait several seconds for the next picture.... (Using a SD of 95 Mb s /)

It seems that a big part of these problems are easily solvable with a firware revision (Manual indicates about a new version 1.2 of firmware to today's date nonexistent)

But I'm silly, despite all I love the T

Many say the same about the speed of focussing with the M models. It's usually said by those who had cut their photographic teeth on autofocus lenses and cameras.

Unfortunately Leica has decided NOT to add the depth-of-field markings on the 23mm. Zone focussing is still possible using M-mount lenses, so if speed is an important part of your technique, try one of them on the T.

Re: Leica T portraits please!

Actually, if you put the camera in MF, and cycle the info button you will find a display showing distance and depth of field.  The negative is the scale is not a fine as it needs to be or should be.  Thus you must interpolate and guestimate some of the values.  Perhaps in the next firmware version they can address and fix this as it should be a relatively easy fix.

Honest criticism and feedback should be welcomed. It helps the buyer and it helps the manufacturer improve.

...the T over the X-vario? Been contemplating both as well as the Sony A7s. Thanks for your input.
