Is is worth upgrading from an nx200 to an nx300?

Hi,

Is it worth upgrading from an nx200 to an nx300? Is the nx300 that much better than to nx200 to warrant upgrading?

Thanks

Only you can answer that for sure. I upgraded over a year ago; the reasons were for the faster processing times, the flip screen and slightly better sensor dr & I caught a temporary price drop at just the right time plus a discount on the 45mm lens with the purchase.

It depends on your priorities. RAW image quality is the same. Everything else may be important or not.

I have sold my NX300 but keep NX200 because of its design. However, I have a GM1 that complements NX very nicely. With one system, I would probably keep the NX300 despite the design. NX300 is more responsive.

If you are satisfied with the NX200, there is no reason to upgrade. If you want an advice, visit a store where an NX300 is available and spend a couple of minutes with it. You personal feeling will tell you things that you will never find by reading reviews in internet.

You know, this is a must, but I realized something the last time I did this.  Lighting in stores is too good for me to actually test the AF at all.  Everything focuses in good light, I want to see where the limits are.

At the prices the nx300 sells for these days I would say definitely. It's a great little camera and although the sensor isn't much different the tilting screen and speed improvement is very nice.

It is to me. NX300 is much faster, has great touch interface and svivel screen, improved AF + slightly better IQ (in RAW, much better in jpg).
