E-PM2 start up problem, your help would be greatly appreciated

My 3 week old E-PM2 appears to be having a problem. When i turn it on after not using it for several hours or more, it often starts up normally, but after I press the shutter the screen goes dark and it doesn't complete taking the first photo, and the screen remains dark and the camera appears to lockup.  I am forced to turn the camera off, and when i turn it back on again it works as it should from that point on.   I can't replicate the problem as it doesn't seem to do it unless it has been off for some time and then only about 50% of the time.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Joel

Unless the camera is trying to do a 20 second or longer exposure, it's broken and should be replaced,  repaired, or returned.

I have the same camera and this isn't normal. I guess that's obvious. So I can't be of much help except to say call Olympus.
