E-M10 and 12mm f/2 do the Camelopardalid Meteor Shower
3

My daughter and I hiked up a front range peak near Calgary, Alberta last Friday evening and spent the night camping at the summit. We hoped to see a spectacular meteor shower but were shut down by both clouds and the lack of many meteors! I still managed to capture some and got some interesting shots that I thought I'd share here. Most shot at ISO 5000 or 6400. I admit that these are heavily processed but I was going for that look so deal with it.

The clouds were coming off the mountains. Mars is in the upper right with Spica to its left.

This is a two shot composite showing a total of 6 meteors with Mars.

A summit panorama - I think there's one meteor in there somewhere!

A sunset photo from the evening we hiked up.

Thanks for looking! The E-M10 performed admirably as usual and the MF of the 12mm worked very easily as well. It's so much simpler than using a lens that doesn't have that option. With my lens 'infinity' is actually spot on, which makes it even easier.

I like them all.  The 1st is sort of surrealistic, and the meteorites in the 2nd nice-- didn't know they went in all directions like that.  Thanks for posting.  I like your panos too.
