E-PM2 with 40-150 R lens

I've just had the camera and lens for a week and am really impressed by its ability to shoot very nice tele macro images.

What do you think?

Re: E-PM2 with 40-150 R lens - lovely shot!

I'm a big fan of the 40-150 and of pictures like this, but I must say, despite a lot of trying, I never did get one as good as this.

I am exceedingly jealous! LOL

Cheers, geoff

Geoffrey,

Thanks for the compliment.  I think it just takes a little practice.  Hoping when I receive the Raynor 150 next week I can do much better.  Who knows, but it's fun trying.

Regards,

Joel

Good framing, if not a little bit overexposed. I would have used ISO200 and a slower shutter setting, but overall it's a good shot.

Thanks for the input.  i was considering that but was concerned about the bee's flight speed.  I should have taken multiple shots at different ISO/shutter speeds, right?

I always take more than one shot, even if I think I've nailed. I find the exposure value meter on my E-PL5 is often overexposed by at least 1EV and sometimes closer to 2EV with most shots as well as a guide.

A Raynor 150 is an inexpensive ($70) snap on macro type lens that gets very good reviews and works well with zoom lenses at their maximum zoom length.

Here's a link to Amazon and quite a few reviews.
