Hand-strap PLUS shoulder-strap? 1000D

AND 1st: look at the screw on cam-base/tripod-mount. It is thin, no problem but rounded below. it has bad grip. But its working. maybe filing a bit to have grip...

2nd: look at the notch below the recycle bin-know. i had to file away a bit-did it too much-but it works). If not the notch is laying on the tiny ring around the knob, base not in touch with cam-base. I was very upset why the chinese are not interested to do it right.

Get a blackrapid mate - they make a wrist strap as well, so you can just swap on the connector for what you want.

You mean swapping from neck-strap to hand-strap? I have a good handstrap on an SLR but no neckstrap attached yet.

Wrist rather than hand (although serves the same purpose mostly) , but yes.   Blackrapid is a strap company - the straps attach to a little mount you screw into the tripod socket (it's basically just a little latch) and then attach to the strap with a carabiner.   They make shoulder and wrist straps, so you can swap back and forth easily depending on what you want at that time, whereas with that hand strap, you have to unbuckle all the pieces to put your neckstrap back on.

I must get rid of that hand-strap. the rubberisch material is smelling-terribly stinking. skin contaminated! The one on 10s(slr) is of textile.  Any hint who can deliver one made of textile not rubber.
