A green ant .
Friends , found a green ant in my garden , for the first time . It is large in size and colorful . Happy to share with you .

That looks like a Weaver Ant queen. I am assuming you live in either India or SE Asia where they tend to live. They build silk nests of which several on nearby trees will be the same colony of up to a million workers total. In some areas they are encouraged by farmers to live in their area to control crop pests. They tend to be highly aggressive. I remember a colony in the Philippines I was studying and they have excellent eyesight and followed me with their eyes as I moved around their tree. Unlike many ants they have several active queens.
