First shot with 40-150 lens - close up
3

I'm pretty happy with my new lens i bought yesterday and am looking forward to receiving the Raynor 150 to see what the combo can do in flower and insect macro images.  The size and weigh of the EPM2 with the 40-150 is pretty incredible for the IQ that comes out, I think.

C&C welcomed.

A very nice shot. Also the 40-150 is an unbelievable lens for the price in my opinion.

It's been said a million times already, but geeze Louise... at $109 (when it's on sale), the 40-150 is the best deal out there for any brand or format. When used mindfully between 50-135ish and closed down a stop the performance level is way beyond its cost. Minimal amounts of contrast, saturation, and careful sharpening polishes the images into gems.

What focal length did you use for this Joel?

Nice shot of that flower.  Just to the repeat what others have said that lens has to be one of the best bargains in photography.

Jere,

All the data was included, but if you can't see it for some reason, it was at 150mm, f5.6 and -.3 exposure. I just got the lens so perhaps there are better settings, but just wanted to see what I could get without spending a lot of time experimenting. Pretty pleased so far.
