Dawn at Dover Harbour (R1 image)

Went out early yesterday morning to catch some dawn light down at Dover docks. Chose my trusty old R1 to take this shot, as I needed a bit more reach than the 19mm on the my NEX 6.

Still in awe of how much detail the R1 resolves, the Zeiss optics on this cam are a joy..

looks great on my laptop, I am sure even better when I get home to my lcd.

Nice! What I like most is the Wake from the boat showing how it curved on out. Great asset of motion. Um, sky color seems a little off?

Thanks Bill, yes I was quite pleased I caught the wake here. Just been looking at the image on my work monitor today and you are quite right about the sky colour, I think the white balance needs a tweak.
