Late last year we had a few phenomenal sunsets. I felt like I'd landed on Mars in that second image. It was epic.

Ouch, look like typical Lumix pictures from here, shrink them down to 600x400 and they should look OK.

The 10% Rule:

I thought I am the only one who noticed it. Every shot in there has the classic fz painterly (decaying) artifacts. Prolly not a wise move from X-S1/HS50.
But shrink them down, all gorgeous!

Some birds from my backyard ( photos taken through windows glass),
Just came back from a trip to Chiengmai- a 13 hour drive (they are fixing the road in places). Visited temples, hill tribes and more temples. Yes, that's a real opium poppy, tho only for show to the tourists. 1300 photos in 3 days. Glad wasn't using Velvia slide film!
Beautiful shots, Griddi. Shooting through mesh is very challenging. I'd be thrilled with these results. Thanks for posting.
Vad, I enjoyed your bluejay, titmouse and male cardinal images. Beautiful colors in these images. I always get a kick out of studying different birds. Thanks for the post.
Wow KK, you got some beautiful shots. Rich colors, beautiful colors and interesting subjects. Thanks for the post.
Nice range of colors!
Would like to visit there someday. Beautiful pictures!
Some flowers with my X-S1. Minimal PP, mostly SOOC.
