Some photos of Hue, Vietnam (NX20 and 12-24mm)
4

Work pressures have meant I've not had much time so far this year to take many photos, but I did finally get around to organising and pp'ing some from last year. Here's a few from Hue in central Vietnam, where I went last August. I've said it before on this forum, but I really like the 12-24mm as a general walkaround lens when travelling, small, light, sharp, and goes to a 35mm equivalent ("normal" for me) rather than being a purely wide angle lens.

I currently pair this with a Nikon V1 and 10-100mm, so I'm interested to see how Samsung develop the mini NX line, as a smaller sensor camera that could also take the same NX lenses would be perfect for me. The only thing is that I want a built in EVF, so the current NX mini isn't for me, but based on my experience withe the Nikon 1, a "1 inch" sensor with a longer zoom seems a good complement to an APS-C with wider angle lenses and primes.

Most of these are of the imperial tombs around the city, on a  day when I was expecting rain. Fortunately the rain held off, and the cloudy skies made for quite dramatic settings.

C&C always welcome, particularly any post processing tips - I'm not convinced I've managed to do some of these justice...

Wow, you've done well.  I especially like the tomb of Kai Dinh (very atmospheric).

Also Thien Mu temple is well composed.  Thanks for sharing!

Very nice photos, but this is a country I do not ever wish to revisit.
