The 18-140mm is a pretty good lens if you can get it at the right price. Really good at the long end, which is where the 8-105mm falls down a bit, apparently.
I'm using the Sigma 17-70mm f/2.8-4 quite a bit lately, and I think I prefer it to the Nikon (except for the 70+ mm, of course). The Sigma actually seems to be better suited to my D3200 rather than the D7100.
