Tiger Spider
1

This Tiger Spider (Argiope Argentata, Silver Bright eyes) grows at my yard over a corner.

Here its showing her belly as the Silver side is at the back I had to pick My FZ200 with its articulated screen and using a remote I had to reach with my hand between the web and the wall,,,

All taken with a close up filter and a diffuser over the popup flash, then play with aperture and Flash EV compensation..

Hope you like them.

Ofcourse C&C are welcome

All excellent shots, I think we have a close cousin of that Down Under.

Just been shooting a SLO MO sequence on video in macro with sprayer, amazing behaviour!

Fulvio

Thanks Fluvio,
She was very tolerant to the lens so I could reach very close with short focal lenght.. and its a shallow spider if you can keep in the focus plane..

Nice photos in your signature BTW...

It looks kind off similar, abdomen shape different at end, same coloring.

I'll post a link to the video when I upload it.

Cheers

Yes I think is a relative

probably Argiope Bruennichi AKA Triger or Vasp Spider, but hard to tell from this ventral view.

Nice picture with the water droplets..

Re: Tiger Spider

Wonderful images!  I particularly like the ones with the window reflection background (last three).  Very creative.
