Hi,

I´m new on this forum and my english may not be perfect, but I hope you understand

I noticed that I cannot use Smart Filter options after this firmware (1.4.0) upgrade. No matter what mode the camera (NX300) is and Picture Wizard option is not set.

Has anyone noticed same issues or could confirm that this Smart Filter options works? Or is there any other settings that affect Smart Filter options? I just bought the camera and started to use RAW file format instead of jpeg.

You can not use smart filter with RAW and I do not think you have ever have been able to do so. However, you can use picture wizard with RAW and adjust the settings to your liking.

Thank you for your answer Glush. I was trying different setting and features of my new camera and I think it still was in jpeg format at the time. That will explane why Smart Filter don´t work. However, it would be nice feature to use occasionally. Well I guess it´s not a big problem to swich jpeg format if want to take some special shots.

Remember you can always program the custom button for One Touch RAW+ (the custom button is the little dustbin button on the bottom right of the camera). That way, when you want to shoot a RAW pic, just press that, you'll see the little RAW icon pop up on the display (if you have your display set to present that info). It should be under Key Mapping in the menu settings. After you've taken the shot, it will go back to the default Jpeg settings.

Re: Dropbox is the thorn in my NX300 side.

hi, I know this may be like an old thread, but if it helps anybody, this is what I ended up doing so the NX300 transfers right into my dropbox folder, really a very simple solution and it works even in the old firmware:

simply use your skydrive account (or create one if you dont have one) and select any folder that resides within your DropBox folder as your "skyDrive" folder destination, and BINGO! thats it! In my case, i created a folder named "SkyDrive-in-DropBox" inside my Dropbox folder, made that folder my destination folder for skydrive and it woked like a charm. So now I can still use my Dropbox to access those files, or I can also use Skydrive to access those same files that reside within my Dropbox folder. And Im on a Mac, which is great since it aint too easy to make things happen on that side.

-- Note that SkyDrive is now known as OneDrive

Hope that helps somebody!
