Thanks for comments. What pictures don't show is the gale force wind making it difficult to steady camera.

Re: Ice Fishing

You're both crazy but at least you can keep moving about, nice shot by the way. I just wish we had some blue skies.

Interesting image

And is the boat just parked there, or is it some permanent restaurant of some sorts. It does look kind of unusual in the ice, and of course, people fishing around it.

Thank you for sharing.

We had an ice storm last weekend and it gave me a chance to do something a little different for me. It was fun. Thanks for looking.

Hard at work

These are from a nearby wildlife sanctuary, and it seems Sunday truly is a day of rest.  All are taken with the E-M1, ZD 50-200 and EC-14 combination.

Winter, here

This canine didn't get Sunday off!

Road inbo town, on a nice day.

Dusk over the prairie

Nightfall (about 5:50 PM) out of our window.

Re: Winter, here

Thanks, Andrew

It's a really old picture, among my first digital ones, but does convey the almost other-worldly depths of winters here,

Space for Photography

The Annenberg Space for Photography in Century City, CA, USA. The towers beyond are triangular in plan.

Went to see National Geographic's "The Power of Photography" at the Anenberg Space for Photography in Century City. The exhibit, using hundreds compelling images from all over the world, as captured by Nat Geo photog's, illustrated the point of the exhibit well. It was a great multi-media display with video introduction, interviews with the photographers, multi-screen changing displays, prints and interactive portfolios. You could wander through and see as much or as little of each theme as you wanted at your own pace. Worth the trip and it was practically free.
