I went with the 30. Has room for my ipad (great for transferring the pictues from the camera via WiFi so you can get quick, easy look at them) and has room for another small lens, small flash, phone, etc. Pockets for batteries, SD cards.  It is small, light and easy to carry.  IMO best bag for mirrorless.

Ona Bowery.  A7r with lens plus another in a compact package.  Got mine in leather and it looks like a small man-purse.  Love it.

Think Tank Hubba Hubba Hiney. Wear it with a belt, or with a strap.

For my A7 with 35/2.8 I am using the original Sony leather badged small shoulder for Nex. It will fit only your combo and the small dedicated 20M flash. Nothing else will enter, but it is the smallest I have found for everyday use.

Re: Smallest high-quality bag for A7r + 35mm 2.8?

Thanks guys. Some great bag suggestions here. Most seem to have room for another lens etc.

I have the Sony Sling bag for carrying another lens + tablet (Nexus 7), but am looking for something that is just enough for the A7r+35mm, nothing more.

The body leather case Sony makes for A7 is fugly and too big for the 35mm lens.

Also looking at the Think Tank Mirrorles Mover 5.

Then the Mirrorless Mover 10 is what you want, first answer nailed it. I use it for A7 + FE55 and it's just a hair too tight with that lens, with the 35 it will be perfect.

The MM 5 will be too small.

If you like the idea of having an even more versatile bag, these ones can be wear on your trousers belt also, and I guess - haven't yet tried - they will fit the 'A7s+FE35F2.8' well...

I have an A7, with the kit lens, the Zeiss 55mm and use the Midi version of the National Geographic bag. Still have plenty of room and can carry my flash, spare batteries and extra SD cards with room to spare. Very nice bag at  a reasonable price.

I have the AmeriBag Healthy Back Bag:

http://www.amazon.com/AmeriBag-Healthy-Back-Micro-Fiber-Small/dp/B001CE0ZJ4

I have the small size and fits the A7 with lens kit, and I can even throw in one or two more lenses and a small portable tripod. Has lots of pockets inside and out, front and back.

They also have an extra small size.

May I take this back, please.

I would rather recommend a neoprene bag now for this small set-up, go to LensCoat, OpTech or Zing, have your camera measures ready and see what they have.

It is classy as it ameliorates any bumps, it keeps dust and water out and looks very cool in black. AND it fits into your pants pocket.

Good luck; cost ~ 30 $ or less.

I would look at a Lowepro Apex 120…...

I have an Apex 110 to carry my RX1/EVF.

The nice thing about these bags is that the cover opens away from you so you are never fighting with it.

I leave it drapped open when I am shooting.

I hate having to work over the cover.
