So that's why the food is disappearing so quickly! FZ50 + TCon
Those squirrels are getting more and more resourceful.
Great pictures. squirrels are pretty intelligent and will figure out a way to get at bird seed feeders no matter what is done to try and prevent them. We had feeders when we lived in Ohio and it was more fun watching the squirrels trying to figure out ways to get past the many blockades that were placed around the feeder. Eventually they would figure out a way.
It is great entertainment.
Daniel, you are so very skilled and that FZ50 is still a wonderful piece of equipment. I wish I still had mine. At my age, I wish I still had a lot of things. (sigh)
POGO was right !
Very amusing post Daniel. As another poster said, there's no way to keep a determined squirrel from food.
ACK! Rats with bushy tails.
The gray rats are using radar at my place. i put seed out and a 1/2 hour later the gray rats are emptying the feeder.

No such thing as a squirrel proof bird feeder. It is such a hoot to see what they do.

Those furballs can empty a feeder in a heartbeat. I solved my squirrel problem by trapping them and treating them to a long car ride and letting them loose far away from my house. By the way, they can't resist peanut butter.
