Re: Some processing...

A nice set.  Like the first and the other two are nicely done.

Like the horse portrait, but think I'd clone out the rail.

There's a real sense of the dog's character in the first shot - looks a timid little thing.

She's funny, actually.  She was a rescue from a puppy mill (she was one of the breeding stock), and she was petrified of EVERYTHING when I first got her (she was around 2).  She still gets panicky and starts shaking when she hears a loud noise (not fireworks, but if I drop something or if paper slaps together...I figure she was probably abused and those were the sounds that she associated with that).  However, she is a nice dog, and is actually outgoing once she has met someone and has had time to get familiar with them.  But, yes, she does cower a bit until she is sure of her surroundings....

Panama Canal from Ancon Hill

Ugly light, yeah I know. Sadly, you can't stay up here for too long, neither too early nor too late, so is midday light or nothing. I did what I could in LR to add some contrast and saturation, and did used a polarizer in every shot, but still bad light can't be fixed.

Other that that, an amazing place to have a big picture glance of Panama City.

I used my new 45-150mm, and the trusty 20mm which never ever disappoints.

Panama Canal Railroad with Miraflores Locks and Centennial Bridge in the far right.

Same as above, but with the 20mm, including the Balboa Container Terminal on the left, and part of the landing strip of Marcos Gelabert Airport.

Old Town (Casco Viejo) and the new extension to the Coastal Strip

At the harbor today

Still recovering for a knee injury so keeping my walking slow and careful, but it fits well with photography for the most part. These were shot with the EM-1 and the 50-200 SWD (4/3).

Thursday: Christine Quinn at CUNY Hunter graduation

Christine Quinn getting Hunter College's first "Eleanor Roosevelt Distinguished Public Service Award"

Christine Quinn is the red head.

Panasonic G10, 45-200mm zoom, ISO 800.  Shot raw.  Which was good, because lighting was very strange.

Thank you for your words! It was when I arrived home and I saw those in the backyard, unusual was my thought as well!

Ironically I like the 3rd the most - the horizontal aspect leaves you guessing a little.

I originally intended the shot as a desktop background in 16:9 - I've had similar reactions from others aha.
