An enjoyable series, Dave, brilliant with beautiful colors. Good to see that you get out and shoot regularly. There is a certain shooting technique to various subjects. If I don't shoot macros regularly, I lose my Midas touch. lol

Thanks for posting.

jcmi, that dog is a sweet subject and the x20 is a sweet camera. Excellent combination rendered a beautiful shot. [And I prefer seeing animals to humans any day of the week. lol]

Animals are a tad harder to get still!

Love the windmill , but was the man on the second photo truly standing on the roof, or did you put him there ?

Thank you, Orion. The shot that I titled 'The Watchman' is the top of city hall in Grapevine Texas. I was parked a distance from the building, so originally that cowboy holding the lantern was pretty much a dot. It lacks IQ so I fiddled with it and decided to add a sky. lol It was stormy that day, horribly overcast and misty.

Here is the link at Wiki so you can get a better idea of the subject. I was parked three times this distance from the building.

That a Good Distance Away - Gotta Like that Lens Range. . .

Good Work Frank  Adding the Sky was a Definite + It's Pretty Punchy !  Nice !

Re: Between Weather Fronts

Beautiful photo, we have here for the last week every day temperatures above 40C, yesterday it was 46C, so your photo did bring a bit of " cold " on my computer .......

WOW, is this not dangerous for the man to stand  in this height, and what about wind, rain etc?
