Anyone for Sunday Scapes (2014-01-05) ?
Love it, the light and composition - well done
Nice composition the trees look like they are marching off into the distance
Very painterly, like a watercolor perhaps

Hi: Been awhile. Nice to see some of the old OLY "gang" posting.
Taken with E-620.

Double frame does certainly add an interesting effect to it.
Looks like a classic Christmas card scene -- but a unique one:-)
Very well done exposure and composition.
Thank you Greg,

Wonderful scene, where is it?
Two weeks of Alpine skiing, this was at the bottom of one of those runs. The weather was nice most of the time, but when it was not it was extremely dramatic.
Interesting how we still say/think Chocolate box composition
BUT when was the last time anybody saw a chocolate box with a picture of a scene on it?
Nice job using the cloud formations in your compositions. I love the reflection in that first one.
This is excellent. Gorgeous light in the trees and luscious foreground detail with the reflections, pondweed and ice. It looks like you got down low to capture that nice foreground detail. Really well composed. Nice work.
Nice simple comp. I love the trees silhouetted against the sky in such a pleasing arrangement. I wish I could see it larger.
The misty conditions give this a tranquil mood despite the energy of the falls. I really like the contrast between the hard edges in the rock strata and the softness of the mist and falls.
These are all great but I can get lost in that last one. Gorgeous color and detail. Nice comp too. You must've shot *really* fast to get matching frames in the lower half. Really well done. I'd love to see it in a poster-sized print.
