Re: A few shots with the E-M1 and 50-200mm SWD +EC2.0

Hi

The first one is my favorite, very well done.

Astonishing quality that you get here with that combo.

Cheers

Excellent! So you used the tripod, the images are sharply focused. How far away are the birds?

Re: Bird of Prey

As usual ---- 70-300 + ec14. I need better light and closer distance to get acceptable BIF photos.

Re: Sandhill Cranes

Nice pictures, as always,,  This reminds me that it is time to visit the Wheeler WLR as it's about time that the cranes reached our state....

Re: More Cranes!

I really like that crane in flight ...  I'm going to look for some cranes next week if the sun comes out but I'll never get this close at the WLR....

Re: More Australian Parrots

Nice shots...  It must be nice.. The only time I'm likely to see a parrot he'll be sitting in a store or in a rare moment when one escapes the captivity of some cage and stops by the yard..

Thanks for the Comments

That last one only stayed long enough for this one picture,,, He wasn't comfortable with where I was sitting, I guess..  The others tolerated me and accept me as one of the obstacles they have to watch...

Re: Slow day in the park

Nice...  I identified my picture as a Pine Warbler because of the beak ..... yours seems to have a different beak and the black cap makes me think it is a male gold finch,, I have to admit that goldfinches, warblers and vireos are so similar in size and color that I really need a ornithologist here to keep me straight...
