Re: Coastal Trail b/w

Very nice stark image.  It has the feel of a lithograph.

Re: Snow; No Owl

This is a good image. Looks like you were thinking about your compositon and captured well.

A couple of the snow owl images in the entrys look overblown, the detail in their feathers fading into the snow. But, don't mean to knock anyone, must make an effort to make an entry myself. Regards to all.

Re: From the past, dark and deep heh, heh, heh .... :-)

Thank you very much.

What is missing is a sense of scale, the beast is 20'+ long and ate sharks as part of its diet, but putting something measurable in there takes away from the pic as I wanted it.

Cheers and Happy New Year.

Arsonphobia. Personally, if I were made of would, I would have a fear of fire too.

Long misty shadows on the forest floor
14

Here's one more from my local forest in Pilsbach, Austria. Taken just before the sun went down; I liked those sun rays fighting their way through the gentle mist and making such long shadows on the floor. Seems to give it a more 3D feeling. Hope you like it too.

Happy New year to everyone!

Btw, on my new web site I just added a gallery with some shots from my home town if anyone wants to see some more. (link below)

Hi Rduy, that's a wonderful shot of the young snowy. Very good work with the 300! I've been out searching here in Montana, hoping they will return this year after coming the last few. I guess it's your turn in the east this year - not many sightings around these parts yet. I hope you capture a bunch more good ones like this! Brian

Thanks Brian! Hope you get some Snowies down your way too this year! Up here the wildlife photography community has Snowy fever!!!
