The blue tint in the photo even gives more chill to the scene.

Great picture, really captures the essence of winter.

What was the temp outside when you took that picture? Did the GR give you any trouble in the cold? How was the battery life?

Thank you. The original image is somewhat bluer, but I warmed it up just slightly. The light was unusually blue.

I don't remember the temperature on that trip per se, but I've been using it in temperatures of -10c/15f without any problems. I take fewer pictures than many people do, but I haven't noticed the battery indicator draining faster than usual. Depending on how you're storing the camera while out in the cold, the battery itself may not be chilled to the temperatures that will cause trouble, or at least it may not be chilled to that temperature very quickly.
