Weekend MONOCHROME #159 [Nov23-24] Post yours!

The world always looks a little different in shades of gray - or of sepia, or of platinum, or of ...

Post a monochrome or two, taken any time, with any camera, of any subject, processed any way you like. Please post your pictures as a response to this opening message.

Feel free to comment - or not - on any of the posts. If you don't want to comment but like a photo just give it a "thumbs up".

How does the world look to you?

Thought I would get this thread going this week because it looks like Jack may be a bit busy.

This morning, Lake Ontario OMD EM5 DZ 35-100f2 @ 45mm

About -6 degrees C this morning but just picked up a used 35-100 f2 so had to get out and play.

Nice composition and content.  Not quite monochrome but close.

Re: Certainly ..

Really nice!  Like the architecture and the white building displayed against the dark sky.  Well processed.

Thanks for the comment and a correction to my posted photo

You're right I seem to have uploaded the wrong version.... Here is the monochrome version

The version I posted I had problems with the fact that I lost his feet. However the error may have been Freudian as I really like the posted version better, even without the feet... Thanks for the comment and pointing out my error.

Re: set from MS delta

Nice ... I like the processing.  The warm tones seem to remind me of some older Kodak papers I use to print.

Re: L.: The Some Various PP

Interesting picture.. Reminds me of a shop keeper waiting for a customer, or a customer waiting to be served, or a friend wondering when you'll stop taking pictures and talk to her, or ....  …. so many possible interpretations...

Re: Certainly ..

I like the picture ... It reminds me of the Zone System and View cameras.... maybe a classical styling..
