Some Whiskey Jay shots:
Nice shots on Whiskey Jay. Last one is my favorite
And good job on catching them, it's not easy to shoot these small birds, they keep wiggling all the time.
Taken with Sony A99 and Sigma 500/4.5 APO EX DG.

Nice catch on a difficult-to-get-close-to subject
All shots with A77 + Minolta 200mm/2.8, handheld and a fast PP. Still trying to learn how to get the best out of this new lens, but so far so good.
Only found a couple of subjects this week. A-77 & 70-400mm G2.
Nice shots. I've never heard of a Whiskey Jay.
Looks like a Red-tailed Dennis. Nice focus.
You really nailed that Gray Goose Sam. Pretty much filled the frame too
A77 and working out the 70400G2:
Cool. I love backyard wildlife. I just had a Cooper's Hawk swoop though my backyard yesterday pursuing an unidentified mid-sized bird.
Some exceptional shot there Owen...I shot a white throat at my feeder a few days ago (handsome bird). There are a number of sightings here is C. Oregon the last couple of years...seems this Eastern bird is expanding its territory.
Egret taken with A77 and 135 STF
I really wish that they did a 200mm STF!
