Please Help. New Olympus 12mm F2.0 Lens Autofocus Not Working.

I have a Panasonic GH3 that seems to work fine and recently I ordered the Olympus 12mm f2.0 special edition lens.  The lens auto-focus is not working and driving me crazy since the thing cost me $1066 US dollars.  Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?  My Panasonic 12-35mm f2.8 lens works fine with the body so i don't think it is a camera body issue.  Thanks

Make sure the focus ring is snapped into the AF position.

The lens has a two position focus ring.  Snapped forward it's AF, snapped back it's MF only.

It's happened to most owners of the lens at one time or another

LOL..I'm an idiot. That worked, no idea that it pushed in. Thank you. I guess it helps to read the manual.

No, no, EVERYONE who has a lens with this feature has done that AT LEAST once.  Don't worry about it!

I've just had the same problem with the 12-40 f2.8 Pro lens. I bought it as a kit lens with the OMD-EM1 and there was no manual for the lens. I had no idea that the focus ring had 2 positions until I must have moved it by error. Reading this thread saved me a lot of worry! Thanks guys.
