with or with out grip, its still one nice looking dslr and it is 35mm full frame.  just drop a modern sensor in it and you would have an instant classic

I really, really like the form and function of the K-5/K-3 models.  I personally hope that they adapt the K-3 body to full frame which has also been rumored.  I like look of the silver and black limited release of the K-3, which is retro enough for me (thinking of my old film KX).

It's a cool looking camera. Shame it never got released. You can see the genesis of the K10 there but the K7 onward marked a new look. The most conservative, and by no means a bad choice will be a slightly larger version of the K-3 body.

I don't think so.  And if I'm going to carry around a brick like that, it better compete with the 1DX/D4 specs.

Take LX body, put in full frame sensor, keep interchangeable viewfinders, and add autofocus.

A winning recipe.

Sadly had my LX stolen many years ago … loved it … everything about it.

Its interesting that we were happy with no huge battery Grip and merely held the cameras in a different way !
