SD15 and 50mm f2.8 Macro - Silklypix vs RPP - which does it for you?
I processed these 2 separate images in their respective software without comparing with the other.
Then, after checking, I had to tweak the Silkypix one, by just choosing a slightly different colour profile.
So, which do you prefer?

I don't think it matters much in this shot, but on some scenes there is a real difference

The second one seems to have better contrast roll-off, meaning, to me at least, that the contrast changes are smoother and shadow detail is maintained. That being said, I would fix the white balance of the second sampling the pedestal as neutral.
agree...shadows on the second seem better but the color is too green overall. I'd adjust the color. First seems a bit too 'cold' ...something in between those two versions for overall color would probably be best.
