E-M5 IQ versus E-P5 IQ
Comparing the E-M5 versus the E-P5 in the "New studio comparison tool" the images from the E-M5 look much sharper than the images from the E-P5. I thought the IQ of these two cameras should be approximately the same. Anyone who have good explanation for this?
Multiple review sites observed that the JPG sharpening is turned back down in the E-P5 (to more sane levels). Many recommend using the E-M5 with -2 sharpening, and without noise supression for JPGs, which is what I do as well. They note that with both the E-P5 and E-M1 you can leave the settings at default.
Look at the RAW comparisons.
