My GX1 developed a problem. The coating on the LCD started to rub off. I had an extended warranty that would have replaced it but I chose to take a monetary payout instead and will upgrade to the GX7. I really liked my GX1 so am sure I will be thrilled with the GX7 with all the upgrades and improvements.

It is strange, maybe you have left the camera in the sun.

But it is a good idea to do that and get the GX7.

But not until mid to late next year.  I am generally pleased with the OMD (and an XPro).  I think the EM1 would offer some nice improvements - particularly being able to use my 150/2 better - but buying the EM1 now just isn't necessary.

It is a good choice, I like better the GX7 form, both are wonderful cameras.

Let's see if there is not much moiré on the EM1.

I'm happy with my E-M5 - why should I waste my money on something I don't need?

This poll was just for seeing the opinions and who buy and what, and those like you (and me for now) that will keep the current cameras.
