Sveg in the night
1

A night scape over a part of Sveg, the town where I live at the moment, taken from a hill nearby. Sveg is surrounded by hills, as you can hint on the opposite side, but none higher than 700 meters. The light brown thing in the middle of the photo is the worlds largest wooden bear. Not much to brag about but it's the only thing making Sveg special

I am afraid of diffraction ..

As per numerous warnings from Rriley .

If I do not see close hanging branches, or whatever foreground might be, I do not stop the lens down with this camera as much. By half of what I see many Olympus shooter do, as DoF is usually sufficient enough for most of the shots.

I see the left bottom corner however caught some out of focus area, but that's not biggy I guess. Or some will say - barely, but still "made" it.

Here again, at f/5.6 it slightly touches the bottom of the frame, but .. oh well, I will be more careful next time

The focus was right in the center in both frames frames.

Edit; thanks for pointing this out.

This is also f/4 on FF. Enough DOF for the shot. This was also focussed on the far detail, as per Merklinger's method.

I would be careful with those, it is already 50mm. But yes, the example demonstrates the point.

And not, when you look at the tree at 100% it isn't sharp. Does fine at a smaller size, but you'd notice printed large.

Like I said, it is 50mm. You would have gotten away with it at half focal length.
