Close ups with the Da*300.

loads of hover flies around our poppies, like bees round a honey pot.

Yes Jenna, sun all the way, i guess you are unfortunate where you live in manchester as it has the reputation of getting more than its fair share of rain. I guess its part of the geography of where you are.

where as the south of England gets lots of sunny weather.

That's certainly my experience of the place! Kilmarnock wasn't much better... perhaps even worse most of the time!

Exeter was the nicest weather in general, and some of the most dramatic, though I also have fond memories of growing up in Warwickshire and Hertfordshire.

We used to go visiting my aunt in Kessingland, suffolk - that was nice, not too far from you if I remember correctly?

Got to disagree though #3 is very nice I adore #4

The delicacy of the petals is seen via the translucence overlap, This raises the image from good to excellent IMO control of light makes it fascinating, I keep returning for another look

Hi jenna, yes not that far im Norfolk, kessingland is about 60 miles from me, i use to go to there wildlife park in the 80s, dont know if it still has one.

Nice shots from a lovely lens, I briefly looked up min. focusing distance which is 1.4,mts, did you use an additional close up lens for the photos?
