Very nice - that 6mp sensor was/is very capable.

How much different was this from the old one?

One of these days I'll go back and see what I can do differently in PP to my old favorite photos... it will be fun to see how much my processing skills/ methods have changed.

Thanks for the comment. I haven't done any processing with this, other than a little cropping of the bottom.

I am struck by the sharpness and detail that the 6 mp sensor captured in this photo. I doubt if the K5 sensor could do any better at a reasonable enlargement size. (But perhaps the K-5IIs could get more detail.) If the *ist D could do this well, then higher and higher pixel density just doesn't interest me that much. I can't get worked up about the forthcoming 24 mp. K-3.
