Re: nx300 problem

you try on 10 sec and off camera without battery. clean contacts of battery and open camera battery slot and try wipe with dry cloth. insert battery and start charge. not turn on camera. see if red light turn on for charge. when full, red light is off then try turn on camera.

Same problem with my nx300, have you solved the issue?

Re: nx300 problem

I had a very similar issue to you. My wife was using the camera and then later that day we get a constant black screen, but if you listened carefully you could hear the shutter movement if you tried to take a picture. I thought that something might have corrupted software wise but couldn't access anything because of a dead screen. Today in a last ditch effort I went for the obvious answer. I removed the back plate following these directions. ( www.ifixit.com/Guide/Samsung+NX300+Back+Panel+Assembly+Replacement/36896 ).  Once I had separated the camera I unplugged the back panel from the Motherboard and very carefully re plugged it into the motherboard.  I put a battery in, and turned it on a viola the screen turned right on as if nothing had ever been wrong with it.  I resecured the tape on the connector and closed the camera up and now it works without any issues.  If it happens again I might use a electronics safe glue to permenantly attach it but that will be a last ditch effort.  Hope this helps.  Ohh and before I forget.  The redlight for the battery turning off a few seconds after you plug it in to charge is because it is fully charged already.  I tried both of my batteries once the screen worked and both were fully charged.
