Assumed you have only the choice of cross eyed view or parallel view images ( i know other methods exist, just for this poll cross eyed view or parallel view ).

How to view cross-eyed: http://www.starosta.com/3dshowcase/ihelp.html

Hoe to view parallel view: http://adcnj3d.wordpress.com/free-viewing-3d-parallel-view/

I prefer freeviewing crosseye, but can also do parallel if the "size" isn't too large.  A standard Holmes card is uncomfortable for me, but doable.

I really dislike anaglyphs (as I can't freeview them, and colors tend to be distorted), but that's a personal opinion.

I always look for big (at least 1000px-wide pairs) cross-eye  pairs to free view. It is a pleasure to view them big.

Parallel viewing is only for tiny pictures. It is near impossible to view when they are big. There are many tiny parallel stereo pairs of flowers in this forum which I simply ignore.

Free-viewing of cross-eye pairs is very easy to master. It is just like learning to ride a bicycle. Once the knack is acquired, it stays with you.

I prefer parallel since I can easily use a viewer for small and large size.  Still can't get X-eye to work.

If its not parallel, I won't see it (in 3d)

I've been shooting with 3d cameras since 1972, but cannot freeview at all. I have tried numerous times over the years, but my eye muscles just won't cooperate.

If you post your pictures in parallel, I'll see them in 3d using a hand viewer. If you post them cross-eyed, I'm not going to see them in 3d. Yes, I know I could download and convert them, but that's not likely to happen very often. In fact I've only done it once since this forum started.

If I post pictures here they will be in both formats.

http://dx.com/p/3d-stereo-viewer-stereoscope-113860

Cheapest and best mirror stereoscope-has headstraps to mount it to your head. sonice version does not have it. i have the sonice-it is perfect. quicker and better adjusting than with prism-glasses from nvp3d or berezin. 3d-image is better seperated from the outer two images.

there is a third one which is actually sold out  at dx...
