Re: HX100 Five more lotus blossoms

I like the last one the most, because of the best light.

Thank you, sens

I am very picky about the light.  I usually only shoot these guys at dawn or sunset.  I find that they start to glow when the sun starts to go down.  I played with all these in Lightroom to try and get the light right.  Thanks for your feedback.

Very nice, any shots with shadows?

Very nice, beautifully mellow, but I do like shadows, do you have any of those type of shots also?

Re: HX100 Five more lotus blossoms

Very nice, John! Did you try a little curves adjustment on the first to darken it up a bit?
Love the last two.

I never thought about shadows, Elliott

but I'm sure there are some nice examples in the lotus ponds. I usually think of shadow as background to the inner light of the blossomes. I'll take a look next time. Thanks for the idea, Elliott.

I played with them in Lightroom, Gary

I have a Chinese edition, so I can't read the names of any of the controls. I haven't settled into a post-processing routine.  Thanks for the suggestion.
