Finally.. Got myself an EM5...

And what can i say. Its a great little camera. Im really enjoying it. Now the negative is real simple. The battery life is poor and the play back button is tiny. Apart from that . Im happy with it. Cheers Paul UK

Can't help you with the playback button, but a pocketful of third party batteries takes care of the battery life issue.

Welcome to the wonderful world of micro 4/3rds. Which camera/cameras will this be replacing?

Cheers Paul . It's replacing all dslr's . So I now have the EM5, X20 and X-S1 and that's it. I will get a second body as back up for when I'm working.  Cheers Paul UK

Aperture

Watch out for your aperture if you're coming from DSLR. M4/3 sharpens up quickly but also gets into diffraction land quickly. So it's now "F4 and be there" and stopping down beyond F8 can degrade image quality.

Diffraction only becomes an issue after F11-F16 or so.

Based on the calculator at this very helpful resource- http://www.cambridgeincolour.com/tutorials/diffraction-photography.htm

It seems like diffraction starts kicking in at f/16, so I'd say there's quite a bit of room to work with in terms of stopping down.
