i always liked this one

like others have said its hard to choose just one photo, but after quickly browsing through some photos i came across this one. i've always liked this shot because its very calming. if i keep looking i would like choose something different as my "best" photo, but i'll just leave this here instead.

Only got my first NEX camera a couple of months ago, so not many to choose from yet.  Here's one I liked while playing with the SEL3518:

Nice. Very.

Thanks, Alupang !

You're welcome and I think you could tweak it a bit more though post processing isn't my thing. Color/gamma/contrast seems off? Weird color "tinge" to it compared to output from my FDn. It's likely I'm biased however.

Yes Alupang, a little contrast could help... but I found it quite fine originally, and never thought of improving it through post-processing before you mentioned it !

Choosing only one is tough... but here's my old NEX-5 with FDn 100/2.8:

I really like this image and the weird thing is I don't even know why. I am actually amazed how some people have the vision...I guess that's what separates artistic folks from someone like me.

Such a simple image and no faces either but something about it just works and makes it interesting. Maybe one day I can take an interesting photo

Thank you for the compliment. I think it's just the matter of having the right tools and getting out there and take lots of photos. Then you will be lucky to have some that are really good and interesting pics to cherish

Not sure if it's my best, but I'm certainly fond of this shot. And shot with the kit lens too of all things.

Great shot, I will have to try that scene myself next time we have a gale, probably not quite enough wind this afternoon!

Wow some amazing photo's in this thread! I took this on Saturday whilst walking up Scafell Pike in The Lake District (the highest mountain in England!) with my Nex 5n with the 16mm lens. I think it might be my favourite photo I've taken. I like that you can see forever pretty much!

Taken with NEX-5n (borrowed from my sister) kit lens 18-55 IOS. Anyway, this is the shot that I gave to my mom for 2013 mother's day. My best with the NEX... I sure love to own one someday!
