My first wedding with OMD
Switched from Canon FF and L-lenses to Oly and very happy with OMD IQ, all olympus lenses used are wide open, almost no frames not in focus, I think OMD can be easily used by wedding photographers.
Just wanted to share some pics from yesterday's wedding, made with OMD + 9-18 + 25/1.4 + 75/1.8
PP in LR+ PS + Silver Efex, love sepia tone for this wedding, clients definitely will get in color also.
P.S. English is not my native, sorry:)
An excellent mix of conventional done very well (and you have to do the conventional for the requirements of the wedding party) and the unusual.
Great work getting the bride up on the steam engine. And no doubt you use the tilting screen for that excellent low shot with the bride and groom, the car, and the impressive building.
And goodness me! I even like the sepia!
Terrific memories for the happy couple.
Where are you located?
Looks great! Can't say anything bad about this set at all. I shot a wedding last year with my OMD and dSLR together. I enjoyed using the OMD more for that event. I ended up selling the dSLR, but after a while I really missed some thing sabout FF, and now I'm a two system man with a D600 + EPL-5.
You did a very impressive job with your OMD.
I like your approach and execution. Number 15 is my favorite.
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for sharing, great shots.
Some of the most delightful wedding images I have seen from any camera.
You clearly understand lighting, posing, and composition! You will enjoy using the E-M5 for your event work -- and it's obvious that you can produce outstanding images using the system.
Very, very nice work -- thanks for sharing!
Thank you all for your comments!:-)
This photos are made in Moscow, lenses used for each shot mentioned in captions, used autoISO everywhere except with champagne (needed faster shutter speed)
I like your color much more than the overly processed vintage sepia.
These are beautiful! I think the sepia works well with the theme they are going for. Or set the tone for a theme. lol. Either way, these are lovely.
Amazing shots !! Thanks for sharing
Fantastic shots! I have to agree I prefer the colour versions, but I guess it really comes down to personal taste and what the bride & groom prefer...
